Preparing your QuanTVm Stick for Remote Technical Support

If you are having trouble with your QuanTVm Stick, first, check your connection speed. Most issues are caused by slow internet speed. To check your internet speed, use the built in web browser and perform a google search ‘Internet Speed Test’.

If your internet speed results are below 1MB per second, you will likely have a difficult time streaming. If other devices in your home have a much greater speed, this means that your QuanTVm Stick is too far away from your router. The only way to solve this is to move the QuanTVm Stick to a TV closer to your router, or purchase a WiFi extender, and place it close to your QuanTVm Stick.

In order for us to connect to your device for support, please follow the steps listed below. Please read through entirely before attempting the steps!

If you do not have the two APPS listed below installed on your device, please go to the GOOGLE PLAY STORE, set up an account, and install them manually. The two APPS you will need are "Teamviewer Host" and "Teamviewer Quick Support". Both of these APPS are FREE.

1. Click on the ‘My Apps’ section.

2. Locate the App called ‘Host’ (shown above: second row, 5th icon from the left) Open the ‘Host’ app.

3. A message will appear as shown above. You MUST install this Add-On.

YOU MIGHT GET A MESSAGE THAT THE INSTALLATION IS BLOCKED! IF SO, GO TO THE SETTINGS AND ADJUST AS DIRECTED. PRESSING ESC SHOULD BRING YOU BACK TO WHAT YOU WERE DOING. IF NOT, START FROM STEP 1 AGAIN.

4. The screen as shown above will appear. Click on ‘Install’, found on the lower right of the screen.

5. Once the App is installed, click ‘Done’.

6. You will see the screen shown above. You DO NOT need to do anything with this screen. Do not put your email address, or password. Simply press the home button on your keypad, and get to the main screen.

7. Click on the ‘My Apps’ section.

8. Scroll down through the Apps until you find ‘Quick Support’ (shown above: second row, 5th icon from the left). Click on the ‘Quick Support’ App.

9. You will see the screen above. The ID number is required for us to connect to your device. You will receive a prompt that we are trying to connect, and you will need to authorize this request. You can now sit back and watch us perform the support requested on your QuanTVm Stick!
